Hello Guardian friends.
On March 11th, Governor Kate Brown announced new guidelines to mitigate the spread of the COVID-19, a novel coronavirus. This includes the cancelling of all events with 250+ attendees over the course of the next four weeks. While these guidelines do not apply to retail stores such as Guardian Games, we take the health and well-being of our customers and staff seriously. As such, we are implementing best practices as outlined by the Center for Disease Control and the Oregon Health Authority.
We are open for business. Games are a perfect way to pass the time at home when you’re unable to go out, and we recognize that customers will still venture out for a new game or two. We do ask our customers who are still coming to shop & play, to help us keep our community as safe as possible by following the CDC guidelines:
- Clean your hands often – We provide access to soap & water, as well as hand sanitizer. Avoid touching your face with unwashed hands.
- Avoid close contact – Practice non-contact forms of greeting, like the Vulcan Salute.
- Stay home if you’re sick – Really. That copy of Ticket to Ride will still be there.
- Cover coughs and sneezes – Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue when you cough or sneeze or use the inside of your elbow. Wash up afterwards.
We recommend following our social media accounts and our website for updates and further announcements.
And remember: Pandemic is a cooperative game. We only win if we work together.
